THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious, energetic and fast growing Buying & Merchandising team. You will be accountable for sales forecasting, stock management and developing strategic promotions to secure our continued growth and online presence. This includes monitoring the flow of goods and working closely with our product team to secure the right products are being delivered at the right time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Analyse and forecast performance, stock and sell through to maximise commercial opportunities and identify risks
- Support the buying efforts and handle buying analysis for your assigned category to ensure that the right selection of products is available on the site
- Monitor the supply chain flow
- Assist merchandisers and senior merchandisers on an ad hoc basis
- Reorder bestselling products
- Build relationships with brands
- Follow up on samples, stock, and margins
- Work close with marketing to coordinate and set up campaigns
YOUR PROFILE
- Numbers-oriented, analytical, structured, detail oriented and a multitask-er
- Bachelor’s degree within business, finance or economics
- Strong Excel skills using VLOOKUP function and pivot tables
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Driven and energetic
- Proactive, responsible, and constantly seeking ways to improve things
- Retail experience is a plus but not required
